Michelin Pilot Super Sports - a world of difference!

For me, the Michelins are just too expensive. I'm now trying to decide between the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position and the Conti DW's.

Lessman. Yeah, that's why I want to ditch the run flats (especially the Pirellis) they are so loud & harsh.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports - a world of difference!

Anybody tried the GoodYear Eagle GT's? My local shop is having a sale on them right now. $670 out the door for 4.
Was looking at the Conti DW's or the PSS's, but are much more.

Sounds to me it's plastic creaking / clicking that you are hearing. My cabin makes those noises all over.

Squeaking center console

I don't think I have a direct line option to the BMW rep. I believe one has to go through the dealer to make contact with the rep.

I don't think I want to disclose that part of it, to protect my guy. BUT, I will say, it was the labor (cost) that the shop charges....and any place should charge no more than that.
I was happy to...

After reading this crap, I'm glad we decided on a 2013 X5 instead of waiting for the 2014. Sounds to me, from what I read here, a decently equipped (not loaded) 2014 X5 35d is going to be at least...

It's a roll of the dice. That's all. You get what you get....Unless you can get your dealer to swap out something from dealer stock....but not sure how responsive dealers are at doing this practice.

Thank you to the OP. I plan on doing the very same thing to my 2013 F30 Sport. I hate how hard my Pirellis RF's are. They make the driving (at lease on choppy city streets) less than pleasurable.

To certify or not to certify

Unfortunately no. I'm waiting for the 2015 X5 which won't be out for at least a year and a half. BMW won't extend a lease for more than a few months or so.
But I do agree, it is kinda of a waste...
