black is not my thing but both designs look equally good to me. i'd go for the one which is lighter. if they are same weight then slightly prefer 07.

i have had it done by both the bmw dealer and aftermarket stores with my e46. in the latter case i did explicitly request oem glass which they used (they bought the kit from the dealer).

I think you made a good choice. E90 was a difficult choice for me after de-contenting began ca. 2009. There was lots of quality complaints too. That's why I held on to my E46 forever.

With ZTR, the car gets better brakes too.

Also with ZTR, they probably ran the test on Sport+ which would be too harsh for daily driving.

I find it can get jerky shifting from 1-2 or 2-1, but all other shifts are smooth. To avoid the jerkiness, I tend to shift 1-2 at a very low RPM, and shift to 2-1 only when nearly fully stopped.
