So-so experience with Route 66 warranty

I bought the easy-street plan for my E60 ('08 535ix).
6 months later dealer said my front control arms were bad and the transmission was leaking.
When I went to pick up the car, they said Route 66...

It's rated to tow 2000kg, which is nearly double what my trailer and race car weight.

I have under 60kmiles on my 2008 and the dealer tells my front control arm bushings are shot. It definitely makes the car loose at speed and clunk over pot holes. My E39 front bushings were also shot...

Personally, I believe in

getting one that's really well loaded up with options. However, 9/10 of the E60's I found were not well optioned.

Like going fast? Take it to a BMWCCA drivers school. You'll learn to be a better driver, have lots of fun, and get to go really fast (if you can handle it).

On the drive from Nashville to Boston, the trip computer said I averaged 81mph and 25.2mpg.

In my old E39 (540iT), I typically averaged around 26-ish mpg at an avg of 80mph (on longer trips).
