Maybe! Does the ASC work when the light is on? Maybe the instrument cluster have a short and only the light coms on but the system works.

The ASC module is inside the car behinde the glovebox in that model year and are very rare to go bad. It is not a wheel sensor as that would have trigerd the ABS light and in your case that did not...

The board computer has a speed limit function where you set a number and when reached a sound will beeb. You acces it through the OBC. No idea about the screen.

Do you have the trans message on the dash? does the trans chang gears in a good manner? Where goes the oil leak from and how much? if all the matter a leaking gaskit, go somewhere else.

For the rear pudle of water, that is the vapor barier behind the door panel that needs to be reglued. It could cause fogging when you leave the car but the worst is the electric mess it WILL cause...

No solution, junkyard is the least costly option, or just set the headrest and forget about it. I did that for the comfort seats where the uper half backside gear broke and the back tends to twist....

Consider this, the v8 was ment for the 7 series with more options and in a production line all v8 engines got the big alternator to reduce cost.
