Depends what sort of oem alarm u have as there...

Depends what sort of oem alarm u have as there are loads- what does ur key or key fob look like as that's a good indication- but yes ur boot not closing would do it- fix that or as a temp fix tape...

Both above posts completely wrong- you will need one designed for a 4 pot- and as Vull said you will need a deifferent one if you have asc- AC Schnitzer do a CF one but it'll be pricey if you can...

Throttle position sensor as stated, ICV, jammed or gunked up throttle body, throttle cable sticking and finally clutch is on the way out.. Any of those - the first few just need cleaning and checking...

As for the error code Iv never seen a bad PCV cause one- but spose it depends just how destroyed it is!!

Another thing to check will be your ccvv (crank case vent valve - pcv) - that too and cause issues and would possably explain the burning smell if its completely blocked but clean the throttle first...

Just replace the air pipe- an air leak will cause no end of issues.. and as suggested take the throttle off and clean it out and checkthe mechanism is working freely etc :)
