Not my experience

I have a 2014, which based on it's build date, is now 2 years old. I set the temperature at 65 and aim the vents up. The cabin is very cool. And, I don't use recirculation, either. I don't think...

X3 Too

I experience the same issue in my 2014 X3, too. I am not that tall either--5.9+. I came from an X5 where I did not have a problem. So, the X3's low mirror would drive me nuts. Now after 19 months, I...

35i: City Driving 18-19 MPG; True highway, no traffic 24-26 MPG

90% comfort mode, 10% sport

I recently added roof racks for a bike. I haven't recorded any major change in MPG in city driving.

600 gallons

I use an app, Car Care, to track all my X3 activity. I have owned my car for 11 months and have 11,300 miles. I have purchased a little more than 600 gallons of premium gasoline, but my service...

Los Angeles Traffic

I have 11K miles. I average 19MPG so far. I don't really get to engage in any true highway speeds, so I guess that's why I have yet to achieve the fantastic mileage I often see posted. My X5 V8...

Dynaplug

I hope I never have to use it, but I purchased the Dynaplug Pro package, including the mini pump, based on reviews on Bimmerfest and a couple of other BMW forums. It's a nice little package that...

Similar Situation

I experienced the same issue. My SA told me their diagnosis was a known issue with the gas cap. Well, not the gas cap itself, but a related part. They replaced the " SA-Pressure switch." It took...

Options

I, too, became accustomed to this feature in my X5. In my X3, this feature works by touching the driver's side door handle for a few seconds. I have never tried it on the passenger side.

All the time

After being in a terrible rear end crash about 8 years ago, I routinely flash my hazard when coming to an abrupt stop, or when cars behind me appear blinded by the sun. I am from S.Cal, too. ...

e53 to F25

I went from an X5 to an X3. As many have already stated, there are substantial differences. I was in my X5 for 5 years, and I have been in my X3 for 7 months. I am happy with my X3, but do miss a...

Follow up

Did you ever find out what was going on with your X3? Was it the windshield wiper fluid? I just had service at my dealership. Nothing major, an oil service and tire rotation. All of a sudden I have...

Same here.

I have a 2014 X3 and it also does the same thing. At first I thought it might be a loose wire, but it drops so randomly. I, too, now assume it is the SiriusXM signal dropping, even though it...

I use an iPhone app to keep track of all my gas mileage. I am in Los Angeles and drive 10% highway and everything else in the city or in heavy traffic on the freeway. In my X5 V8, driving over 75k...

I chose to use the tow hook to hold my license plate. There are a number of manufacturers of these plate holders. I know there are many people who do not like the off center look. BTW, it has not...

Fault State

I am in California, and we are a fault state. So, my advice may not apply. I have heard that in no-fault states recovery is much more straight forward. For a $60K+ recovery, here in CA, I would not...

My pictures are from 2006. At the time of the rear ending, my car was 7 months old. This was my 2nd car crash in 10 years. In both cases, I was not at fault. In my earlier crash, I handled it all...
