Forgot to mention; when car is cold misfire is worse and car shakes. After warmed up it idles fine with slit hesitation and if I stomp the gas it will mis-fire and through a code.

If there pointing down you might have broken adjusters. A common issue on E38's and E39's. Most people just get the aluminum adjusters from EAC or ebay.

CCV is a good place to start. Dont get the $40 "OEM" replacement. Spend the 60 or so dollars and get the BMW one. Im speaking from experience.

If you only changed 6qts, that might be a problem...

I use the Bosch. For passenger side I get 1 inch shorther then what the guide tells me too. It fits nicer under the hood and wont chip the edge of your hood either.

I could have just soldered it, but I could not get the solenoids themselves out of there houseings to check for broken coil wires. Too corroded. I just put it back...
