Man what insurance company do you have that covers mechanical problems? I'd like to know because I've got to switch. I've never heard of standard auto insurance covering repairs.

What is the code or abbreviation for the water temp? Is it any of these in the attached photo? There are 329 parameters that my scan gauge reads, but I don't know which one it is.

6000 miles in 6 mos. I change my own oil now. I check the dipstick and the electronic sensor, which I have found to be fairly accurate. The difference between the high and low mark is 1qt.

Hard to see a transfer case going out so soon unless you were doing some heavy off-roading. Those things are pretty robust. Probably chain driven. Too much diesel torque ;)
