No need to drain the oil first. I put a rag under the lower banjo. A little bit of oil did drain out of the line. But, it really was a tiny amount.

This is the old line. I believe it was leaking at the top by the arrow. There is the tiniest amount of play at that spot. The line is completely coated with gunk. May not come through well in the pic.

Literally the only thing I removed was the air box. Was tight down in there but I got it done. Removing the oil pressure switch and alternator connection probably would have given a little more room...

I finally got around to replacing the line. I don't know yet if it was cracked or what but it was just coated with sludge. I don't think the problem was either bolt as they seemed fairly clean....

Brake fluid should be done every 2 years in these cars. They take DOT4 (high temp fluid) which has a 2 year lifespan. Other cars like Hondas and such take DOT3 which has a 3 year lifespan.
