just for your info when my 3.0I did what your engine did ,but I noticed mine when it was idling, I could smell oil inside the house,I ran out and shut engine off while running(which is a good thing)...

oil might have sucked up into the intake and hydro locked your engine. remove your spark plugs and see if they are covered in oil. also what engine do you have?

I would say the alternator ?low voltage caused the DSC light, the ABS and the brake light , that is very common when batteries/alternators are on the way out.

to start with I would get all the receipts from the seller and see what repairs/maintenance has been done, also check and make sure all the electrical works, also see if its burning oil, .
