SMG missing the up-shift from 3rd to 4th

I have a 2004 M3 with an SMG transmission.
On occasion it misses 4th gear as it goes from 3rd to 4th.
Anyone encounter this problem? Any remedy?

Thanks to all who responded.
I have a 30,000 annual mile lease on the G37S. The extra miles were cheap at $.11/mile and they discounted the car quite a bit.

When our M3 arrived with the temporary German license places I searched Ebay for a frame. I found many and I bought mine from a fellow in PA. They worked perfectly and have been on for 5 months....

I second the Marriott in Vienna. My family stayed there for 3 days last summer. A great location for walking in the city center and a secure parking lot beneath the hotel! :thumbup:

Back in July my family and I drove our M-3 (my wife's car) about 1950 miles through old East Germany and on to Salzberg and Vienna and back to Munich in about 8 days. The countryside was beautiful....
