If the coolant dipstick is missing, it's a tell-tale that at least the expansion tank is on it's way out. Check the date on that sticker, or maybe there's another sticker or stamp with manufacturing...

the behr (OEM) and other makes fan clutches seem to draw less air, which is detrimental to your engine cooling. Sachs are strong, and the first few days you will notice the noise, which will go away....

Problem solved. I pulled the 2 OBD fuses to check them, they were good. After I put them back, the GT1 suddenly started to work. Probably a bad connection on one of the fuses. Hope this will help...
