Yeah... I get all that in the aggregate market, but it seems like this model would break down with a low volume model like an M3. At least from the dealer's perspective.

My last couple new BMWs seemed to start from the factory build date. For example, my 2016 340i was built in July and I took delivery in late August, and it shows July as the oil change due date.

All the lease says is it must me a runflat and the same size, speed rating and "quality" (whoever that means), but there is no requirement for that star or any approved brand list.
