Key problem after dropping it from a bicycle seat bag

I have two main keys to my 04 X3 and they were both 100% functional until one of the keys fell off the seat bag on my bicycle at around 8-10mph and hit the ground. I picked it up and it looked fine...

There's nothing in the back to hold the rear wheels but I think the fork blocks are sturdy enough to hold the bikes in place.

The title says it all. This is nowhere near as elegant as the BMW OEM internal rack but it's A LOT cheaper. :bigpimp:

Haven't touched the roof after it's been taped up. Will just seal the glass watertight when I get a chance and leave it. Can't justify the $3-4k to fix the sunroof which I rarely use.
