Interior A-Pillar trim gap

The driver's side A-Pillar trim has a noticeable gap near the top. I googled around and heard this is at least somewhat common with this car, because of the poor design of the 'clip' near the top.

The transmission is feeling better by the day - the new trains fluid cleared up the blotchy shifting and difficulty getting into first gear.
