An update for any interested or following this. The intake manifold gasket was indeed replaced- the shop was nice enough to disassemble the intake manifold and show me the newly installed gasket...

Swapped coils
Swapped spark plugs
New gas cap
New lower intake bellows (after airbox)
Checked DISA valve- nice and tight...
