Did you carefully compare the new to the old to make sure it has the right thread and a proper flat bevel underneath the hex end? Also, check the oil pan to make sure there's no crack or anything...

Anyway, on the N54 and other turbos, the recommended plug change is 50K or so. If originals, replace them.

Since it's your oil pump, just replace it, since a fail usually turns a BMW engine into a boat anchor in about 2 minutes. IMHO, not a good thing to do a partial/test fix on.

Seriously, I don't see that any sensors need to be preventatively replaced as such, since they'll usually code or show degradation symptoms before going bad. Just maintenance when the machine calls...
