I've heard the exhaust note in the 28i. Meh. That's a big factor for me. And of course you're losing power with the 4 banger, both HP and torque. Otherwise the cars should be decked out the same....

Rob, PSS are great tires but you'll get only a little better life out of them then the stock RFT's. Ride quality and performance are what you really gain. Unless you get all seasons (a mistake IMO)...

Anything can happen at any mileage. You gotta figure if there's say 50000 parts in the car and there's a 0.5% failure rate, that's 25 parts. No car is made perfectly all the time.

Really?! Vettes are so much more commonplace than a Z4. I think part of what makes people look and comment is the relative scarcity. But Vettes are a looker too (just not as good looking!)
