Bought some Seafoam at work and my "stealth" amber 1157 bulbs came in the mail today.
Unfortunately its fridged and snowy in good ol Virginia Beach today, so I'll wait for a nicer day pop those in.

Hmmm. I see. After doing some reading online, I ended up ordering "error free" LEDs last night (8 bucks for a pair). I'll probably just end up using the current ones for interior lighting instead.

I doubt it, the locks are controlled by the cables running to the lid motor. If the motor is in/opp the lever attached to the cables wont move. Not that I have been able see at least.
