Getting back to what the original post was about I think you need to get the car fixed back into stable running condition if you want to sell it yourself. If it's not running it will be hard to sell....

OTC tools sells a brake rotor puller. It's about 50 dollars on Amazon. Works very well. Good investment if you plan to do multiple vehicles and live in the rust belt.

Overheating

On our way to dinner with wife and kids to meet another family the car overheats with no warning. Goes extremely slow like 5 mph. Enough to get it to the side of the road.

I wouldn't change the coils unless your having a problem with them. If one is bad then I'd replace all of them esp if mileage is high

I am certainly no expert but I would do both at the same time as you are already there anyway. Worse thing would be to have to come back in a year to do the rotors because now they are too thin.

Likely rusted on. Consider using a brake rotor puller. I bought one from OTC tools. You can probably rent something from advance or autozone. Big problem in areas that use salt in the winter.
