Sounds like driver's side cat could be bad. Might pull the plugs on that side to see what they look like and to check for oil in the plug wells - from leaking VCG's.

I had the same scenario at 112K. I would drop the oil pan and check for plastic timing chain guides. I found only one small piece, so I caught it in time and replaced the TCGs.
