Ask them to preform a leak down test on the engine and compression test. Give you a good guideline or spend $100 at an independant shop and get a PPI done.

With a dogleg's 1:1 ratio for the final drive I would be looking more at a 3.2X-3.4X range. That is way to high of a final drive with that transmission.

I parted a 97 328is and I'm gutting a 93 318is has black interior, keeping the headliner and carpet though.
