steering problem

BMW will not share/split or pay for the cost of a car out of warranty. The cost to replace by a dealership starts at $3500 and goes up from there. The steering column is $2500 & labor is about $1000....

It's really tough to diagnose suspension problems without looking at it on a rack. That said, it could be control arm bushings, a worn or loose strut, or even a bad wheel bearing.
