The Z3 shares the same foglights with the E39...

The Z3 shares the same foglights with the E39 5ers. The 96/97 lights where clear while the 98+ lights had a texture in the glass to direct the light more evenly. They where all the same size

I replaced my lights just because the tabs cracked over time. I got a set off ebay, they work well, are nice and clear compared to my old units.

I need to get a tow hook mount for my Z3 at some point. I had to replace the front bumper and had the holes filled in when getting painted. This was helpful seeing all the different options.

I have a hard time believing you are having a hard time finding a Xdrive car with the packages and options you want. I had to hunt out a RWD car because everything is Xdrive.

I replaced the factory head unit with a Kenwood...

I replaced the factory head unit with a Kenwood unit as well its a just plug and play really. I got a the adapter kit for the car so no need to cut wires up. Just connect aftermarket head unit wires...

I went to Pep boys (auto parts store) looked up the bulb size they had listed found out it was the wrong one. In the end I went to the dealer and got it for less then 2.00 dollars and it fits.

The 3.0 non-turbo motors do not have fuel pump issues the turbo 335's did. The brake fluid is due for a changed again (every 2yrs). Good luck with it I hope it works out

The best thing I did was replace the OEM Runflats with Non-Runflat tires. (Conti DSW's) I now enjoy driving the car now. I have a flat tire repair kit and a small portable air pump in the trunk.

My father has the bumper mount (outside) E-Zpass and at one of the NY Crossing the the E-Zpass could not be read. I have only had the inside window mount units without any issues.

You do know that BMW's come without winter package do not have headlight washers on them, its not required by law.

To the OP I can not say for sure if this would work as I never took my head...
