Is yours auto or SMG? Who told you that it needs to be drive. As manual 90% of the time? That just doesn't make sense. Whether it is driven in manual or auto mode the hydraulic pump still has to work...

You should still get your software up & running for diagnostics, really handy.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. BMW never fitted a 100Ah battery to the e6x. Only 80Ah AGM, 90AH lead acid or 110Ah lead acid. So you won't be able to register it properly, I would choose 90Ah...
