HPFP's, gaskets will produce small leaks. When I had my fuel pumps replaced and a coil the engine was open so I had them replace the valve cover gaskets and another which were leaking a little oil....

When I had my fuel pumps changed 6 months ago 1 of them were bad out of the box so it could be bad abd be brand new. Exchange that fuel pump for a new one.
