I have had the E30 (87325is) sitting for a couple years now. It was my wife's primary driver and then both my sons used it as a first car for HS. It needs some work but is still all there with 245K...

If it can work I would pull it behind the RV. This could be trips up to a few thousand miles and at highway speeds so 50-65 mph. If this is not harmful to the car I still need to figure out a tow...

Same here....I bought a 03 Z4 2.5 loaded with 44K miles in 10-2010 for $12K. If you like "noodling" around town the 2.5 is just fine.

Has anyone towed an E30 manual-trans, 4 wheels down behind an RV? I know the automatics are out but how about the manual?

what gripes me the most is states like mine that require a front plate........nothing ruins the lines of a sports car like the Z4 as an added flat vertical rectangle smack in the middle of the smooth...

I run Blizzaks on my 4WD truck in the winter. They are the best snow and ice tire I have every had. Oh that's right it's a BMW-Z forum........the Z sleeps in the garage all winter so the summer...

I have an F350 for winter. The Z is way too low and would get all the road "stuff" all over it. I live in snow country so we are very used to the white stuff here......forecasting another foot...
