Take a picture and post us.. If its electric the instructions would vary slightly i guess.

it costed me about $10 for 5W LED upgrade , both head lights, from stock yellow halogens... way cheaper and good bright white light.. love the white rings look now.

My X5 2005 model didnot show any lights when my prev battery died. The symptom was car wasn't starting.. and just the seat belt sign comes up when tried to ignition. May be this is in newer models....

I noticed there is an upgrade to LED bulb instead of stock..
