I had to have my cylinder head replaced on my 2011 X3 for a similar issue. It was under warranty and took about 2 months to diagnose and fix. I got rid of it as soon as I could after it was fixed.

I had the chassis stabilization error but didn't have the no start problem. It did have a misfire afterwards and the cylinder head had to be replaced. Luckily it was under warranty and I sold it soon...

I had that same error after an oil change. Two months later it was finally fixed after replacing the cylinder head. It was a royal pain in the butt.

It sounds like the ASCM module might have gone bad. I had this problem when I tried to code the ASCM module and that was a mistake. Luckily my X3 was under warranty and was replaced for free.

It took 2 months for BMW to figure out what was wrong with my 2011 X3. BMW replaced the cylinder head and finally it ran okay and the check engine light stayed off. I think you could have a good case...

The tech then heard something bad under the vehicle and two seals need to be replaced....

Was told today that the valvetronic is probably the culprit and the head will be replaced. Should know by middle of next week if this fixes it.

Still not fixed and unknown what is causing check engine light to come on. Really thinking hard about selling it once it is fixed since the warranty will be up in 5000 miles. :(

I really don't know if that is related or not. The dealership replaced the throttle body because of a sticky butterfly valve that cause the X3 to only go 10-15mph. Seems like there are two different...

Your X3 will do the same as your Lexus. It only re-locks the doors if a door is not opened. It will not lock the doors on its own.

I had a screw in my tire and just had it repaired at a local tire shop. I don't think you would get a new tire just for having a screw in your tire unless it was beyond repair.
