Yep, the turn signals and "fog" lights are all in that single unit. That was one reason Porsche did that on the Boxster/996: to save money.

I'm looking at the 996. It's in my price range, and there's a local shop that will do the IMS, clutch, RMS, and AOS for roughly $3k. That's a pretty damn good deal and would put me in a 100k mile 996...
