I believe Fr4nk was indicating rather re-coding your LCM, they are more apt to suggest replacing the LCM. BMW dealers are quick to suggest replacement parts to solve problems.

I've already had to do my wiring loom. There were cracks in the wire insulation in a couple of wires. Even if you find cracks at the end of the loom by the trunk lid, do check the rest...
