Well put Sled.. They are an old car, and do require all these things eventually.. But the fact these cars are still driving around just proves how well they were built!!

That's not true Sled... These cars require no more maintenance than any other car, and as always preventive maintenance is key! This forum may highlight a lot of common faults but no more so than any...

Battery Light not going off on dash

Do you have a spare battery to try in it?? If it does the same thing with a different battery then that's the battery ruled out..

If you put a multimeter across the battery you should be getting...

Clutch is screwed mate, and if you keep doin what your doin you'll damage the flywheel too!! Your car doesn't have the power to do what you'd like on dry Tarmac...

Sounds like the battery is not holding a charge, so even tho it seems ok when it's running because the alternator is keeping it goin, the battery still needs to be replaced I reckon.. And it's...

Something is draining your battery, like a cd changer or interior boot lights, something that has a constant power feed, you need to figure it out..

Does it have any aftermarket equipment??

What's the light that comes on the dash?? Full beams?!!

Probably just a level sensor fault.. Check the plug to it, make sure there is power at it

You'll have to remove them mate, there is no other way to do it.. As for pressing in and out, well my ones I only had to press in, as I got whole new arms.. A press is ideal but I'm sure you could...
