Hey folks. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I had to get a new battery for my 1987, and the radio has gone to "code". I got what my mechanic says is the code (five digits right?), turned on...

I love my '87 325i, but when I bought it a year or so ago, the steering felt really loose. Car is in excellent shape, and everything else is great (except for the hood and convertible cover shocks)....
