I'm just over 175,000 mile now...still running as good as ever. Just picked-up a black on black A4 Avant Quattro 6-speed w/the 3.2 V6 as my winter beater so my e39 doesn't get any more thrashed

It seem like it'd be easier to retrofit your old headlight...
