If memory serves me correct the premium sound simply included increased wattage (bigger amp), Sirius and the iPod connection. Though I could be wrong.

Yes - it seems to be in the plastic bar that deploys the vent option (as opposed to retracting). I put 2 pieces of felt between the bar and the roof which seems to help.

I'm fairly certain there is a small pop up...

I'm fairly certain there is a small pop up deflector that deploys when the roof opens. That being said, I've noticed the same issue at higher speeds. Cracking a window usually fixes the noise.
