If the hose to the VANOS is covered with oil like mine was, I'd replace it. Time... all depends on if you've your a good mechanic. If I was doing it again, I'd plan on 2-3 hrs., I'm average at best.

Definitely "practice" getting the pipe on that twist locks to the CCV. You have to line that pipe up perfectly to twist lock it on, and the space is freakin' tight. I used my old CCV to practice...

Fuel pump and filter changed 20K ago. Pre-cat O2 sensors and plugs changed 25K ago. Never had a reason to change anything else engine related yet, including any vacuum related...
