The Euro M635 was also the first M car available to the public. I think it is still the fastest production car BMW in stock form that was sold the the public.

If you are considering other cars of similar size and performance, take a look at the Audi A6. I've owned a lot of BMWs over the years and still have 2 but the A6 is a really nice car.

BMW no longer supplies flashlights or a place to plug them in. My '86 M635 has the slot in the glovebox but I think they stopped this practice in the late '90s.
