My cars do not have HUDs and do not have any significant problem with reflection, certainly not like in the pictures. I think the HUD equipped vehicles may be using some sort of reflective coating...

Don't know if it is available in your neck of the woods but I have Stinger VIP installed in mine with duo laser detect and shifter in the front and duo at the back as well. Works well.
