The driver side was fine (except the front fender) and the rear of the car was completely fine. The rear bumper was new and just got painted, and it was still in perfect shape.

If you do decide to go through with the muffler delete, you MUST weld some sort of pipe that goes out the back. If you don't, you'll end up like I did with a bumper that literally melted off the car.

I changed mine on my 2000 528i, they were easy but I have the old style headlights. I'm pretty sure the newer headlights are a little bit harder to do.

That seems normal on bumpy roads, at least I feel like that would be normal. How many miles on your car? You could have some pretty worn front suspension parts.

I have the same problem, mine doesn't light up anymore... but it still works fine. All the other buttons (1, 2, 3) light up fine. I guess the led just broke on mine :dunno:
