I actually did replace it with an aftermarket...

I actually did replace it with an aftermarket brand, but i took that out and put the original back in. I receieved an o.e.m brand today. Ill switch it out and see if it makes a difference

Ya im sure EWS wouldnt give me a problem while im driving. It just feels like the car is running out...

Long startup. Car dying on me while i drive!! Where else to look?

Ok guys i changed the fuel pump about 1 month ago, and after the replacement i still have long startups. Will never start on the first try and i have to build the pressure by taking key in and out....

But did you take out each one? At first i didnt know one of them blew out because it slowly melted, and you can see the very small break in it.

9 seconds is way to long for that. When it was pouring here it kept wiping constantly and when rain slowed down...

Double check your fuses in ebox. I had the same problem after fuel pump change. In the ecu area there is a pack of 5, (30 or 20 amp fuses). One of mine slowly melted away and led my car to not start....

Lol everyone thinks you dont have an e39.

I advice you to add the e39 on your car list

E39's charge the battery by itself. Look up how to program it. I guarentee it will work
