There is a setting in iDrive to unlock all of the doors. If you press the start/stop button once to turn the car off and a second time right after that, everything will power down

I'm not sure if the PDK also incorporates a torque converter, but it behaves differently at a traffic stop than the DCT. I found the DCT terrific on my test drive. :)

That is what I was thinking, unless BMW uses an adhesive that let go due to faulty assembly. Easy fix though. Nice to see that the CPO warranty covers stuff like this.

You can compare an M3 to an M5 in the sense that they both have high performance engines and suspensions, but that is where the comparison ends. They are both aimed at different markets and tasks....
