Audio

F4 Pilot,

You are getting good gouge on the thread so far. Check the part number on your Sirius tuner which located behind panel on drivers side of the trunk. Run that on RealOEM.com or similar...

Thumbs up BAVSOUND Stage One and Ghost Subs in E63 DIRAC Amp

I retrofitted the full 752 setup into my car a year ago. While the head room increase was dramatic I still did not like the clarity of the highs, just too much sibilants for my taste.

So, working...

Connect that Shield Wire

Read the post (#303) you made just prior to the one where you asked this question. You have it figured but your RCA cable has no woven shield just under the rubber casing?

I remember my own CIC...

New plugs

I did this yesterday. Review the Bavarian Autosport video that is linked in this thread. I found that indeed by unbolting/removing the plastic shield over the 12v battery (red) lead on the driver's...

From an E63 owner...Technic offers good stuff

Guys,

While I am also interested in possible upgrade paths for the newer F bodies I must say that Technic's parts and info made a stunning sound difference for me in deep bass. Not boomy crap,...

Consider the early 650i cars?

Some of the 645i 4.4L engine issues were sorted when they went to the 4.8L in the 2006 650i. With the years passing and depreciation occurring perhaps you could make a good deal on an 06 or 07 and...

Ground?

Look carefully and check before doing this but...I think I am reading that you must ground that blue wire from pin 3 on TCU to the chassis to get the "cradle" to charge your iPod. Of course, if no...

eBay?

I am actually selling off my original CCC and related parts there right now... But don't buy it! Go the CIC retrofit route and never look back, what a great upgrade!
