If you blead it with the nose up and you are not getting over heat problems it seems to be OK. You did have the heater on full heat, didn't you?

+1 on sticky 'stat. Also bleed with the car nose up (a littl bit) and heater on full. Make sure the pipe to the header tank is not kinked.

Never had an oil filled coil leak on me in 40 years. Guess I'm just lucky. But I never bolted it down in the path of exhaust heat either.....

Fully empty and de-trim the boot. Run your sound system up and feel over the area the sound (rattle) is comming from. Check to see what is left in the boot in that area.

You can flush the ICV with Carb Cleaner to smooth its operation. Those cracks in the intake pipe will negate all the control that comes from the ECU. To get full heat (until summer) pull the wires...

Hi SS, Tint removal is best by steam jet, like some domestic cleaners. Has to be quite hot then the glue gives way. Its SCRAPING that does the damage.

I would suggest the sensor was telling the ECU lies. If your old sensor is now connected it was dirt or mabe a broken wire - recheck carefully. When the ECU sees values well out of range...
