One end of the Y shape pipe connects to the radiator. So I guess that radiator connection is omitted.

I wouldn't recommend aftermarket parts bc they won't fit very well. First I would check if there is any...

Oddly enough my colleague had a similar story with his M3 smg transmission regarding the uncertainty of the mechanic but he always takes it to the dealer.
They kept replacing parts, the only logic...

ABS lights are not for brake pads. There is a specific yellow warning light for brake pad wear.

And there are 2 brake pad sensors, one in the front left and one in the rear right.

By the way I hate "longlife".
My E39 was dealer serviced (long oil change interval) until 130k...

As long as you have toe-in the car will go straight. But the length of the left and the right tie rod is not equal since they are not equally worn on your car so the steering wheel won't be centered...

Yes, if one owner kept it for so long means he/she was satisfied with it and probably maintained it with the thought of keeping the car for many years. The engine size tells me the previous owner...
