if you have a volt meter/multimeter, with the car idling you should have 14.5V approx at the battery, you can probably use the terminals under the hood, but it would be best to check at the battery....

assuming the thing is reset when all tyres have the same pressure, if one looses pressure, has a slow leak the vehicle will detect it due to that wheels rolling diameter now...

i have a 2005 3.0d and absolutely love it, just over christmas / new year we went on a 3000 km road trip averaged around 7.7 / 8.3 km per liter and it never missed a beat
