Thanks, so it's basically checking the whole accelerator system from the cockpit to under the bonnet, was praying it wasn't the cable about to snap or something, thanks again guys

Yes I do use grease remover and brush, leave it for a while then water to wash away all the grease etc obviously careful enough not to spray any onto delicate parts and your engine is sparkling...
