Thanks for the feedback! I ended up buying a new upgraded capacity AGM battery. $224.CDN. I removed & installed new one & had a local Indy register & recode IBS for $20 & 15-20 minutes of wait time....

Yes these diesels are really sleepers. Friends can't believe how the torque kicks them into the seat but they don't hear the loud exhaust/rev like a gasser.

Sorry can't help you with that. Hard to see detailed difference from photos posted of both engine layouts. If you can get your hands on it does it feel like it's weakened or possible cords inside...

I think the no 1 pipe is the same. No 12 is different. Looking at diagrams of both the charge pipe from the intercooler to intake manifold is plumbed different. Best way would be to check the dealer...

Yes the X5 35d & the 335d shared the same motor but the X5 had more plumbing involved with the EGR & with the AWD/extra weight the motor would be worked more. Possibly running at better/ideal temp....
