Rather than have to choose from the limited selection in 235/40R17, I would agree that the Pilot Super Sport in 225/45R17...

There is only about a third of an inch difference in width between most 225/45R17 and 215/50R17 tires, so not really enough to make a noticeable difference in snow traction.
