I know this is a dumb question, but I have never changed oil because it was just easier to pull in and get it done, but if you take off the oil filter first, won't the oil leak out of the filter...

I am looking for some snows for my 05 E60 and am considering a -1 tire. I found some that are 225/55/16. Tirerack also confirms this size for a package deal. Does this size seem likely to fit?
