The module in the drivers B pillar is called the SBSR module. It turns the fuel pump off in an accident if the airbags deploy.

They do fail with old age. It should show up as faulty with INPA.

Why would you put the same problem back in?

The seal fails because the pipe is aluminium and the water causes electrolysis which is corrosion. The AGA pipe is stainless steel so will not corrode....

Life time fluid means the life of the fluid not the transmission. When the fluid dies and it will, so will your transmission. Change the oil and save yourself thousands on a replacement gearbox.
